mote is the weather, drawn in dots. the sky over you is a field of dots, and their size is the only tone there is. cloud swells out of the grain. rain and snow fall in lanes that lean with the wind. by day there is a sun. by night there is the moon in its real phase, with stars round it. drag up to move through the next seven days, hour by hour. the page turns from paper to ink as the sun goes down. tap the five dots for the numbers: the day's low and high, what it feels like, humidity, cloud, sunrise, sunset and the moon. the sky widget comes in three sizes for the home screen and three for the lock screen. each one shows the sky where you are, or over a place you pick. no ads. no account. no settings screen. temperatures and wind follow the units your phone is set to. simple. mote asks where you are only to fetch your forecast. say no, and it shows the sky over your time zone's city instead.
