Fold: RSS Reader

Fold is a reader for people who still keep a list of sites worth following. Subscribe to RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds and read them in typography built for long articles, not for dashboards. Anything you download stays in your library long after it scrolls out of the publisher's feed. READING Open an article and the saved text is already there. Fold quietly fetches the full piece when a feed carries only a summary, keeps your place when you leave, and carries you on to the next article when you're done. Tap the headline to open the original in Safari. Set the type size, choose serif or sans, and pick light or dark to match how you read. YOUR LIBRARY Star the pieces worth returning to. Search everything by title, text, author, or source. Mute topics you would rather not see, without marking them read, and bring muted articles back whenever you want. Unsubscribe from a feed and your starred articles stay put. TAKING IT WITH YOU Import and export OPML, so your subscriptions move to and from any other reader. Export a complete Fold backup, including feeds, articles, read and starred state, and mute rules, then import it later without overwriting choices you have already made. Share an article's link, or its full text behind a prefix you write yourself, which is useful for pasting into notes or an AI assistant. HABITS A daily streak, articles opened, starred count, and library size. A quiet record of what you actually read. WORTH KNOWING Fold keeps a local library. There is no Fold account, no subscription, and no server holding your reading. Saved text is available offline. Images and original web pages still need a connection, and full text depends on what each publisher makes available. iOS decides when background refresh runs, so Fold cannot promise to catch every item that disappears quickly. iPhone only.
