Illustrative example: an invoice app for independent contractors. Your kit is tailored to the app you choose; this is not its generated content.

Feature spec

Goal: Send a clear invoice after finishing a job.

  • Add a client, line items, a due date, and payment instructions.
  • Preview the total before exporting a PDF.
  • Keep an editable draft if export fails.

Screen plan

Invoice editor: Client at the top, editable line items in the middle, total and preview action at the bottom.

States: Empty draft, validation errors beside each field, exporting, and a retry action that preserves the draft.

Differentiate and validate

Hypothesis: Contractors need faster repeat invoices more than more templates.

First experiment: Test duplicating a previous job with five contractors. Watch where they hesitate before expanding the feature set.

The full kit adds a phased build plan, evidence notes, tool prompts, and implementation guidance. It is a plan for your coding agent, not a finished app.

Usage: Mechanics are fair game; never reuse the original name, branding, assets, or verbatim copy.

App Store description

Aviation weather, explained before it's decoded. ISR ScudRunner is built for pilots who want to understand the weather quickly, without giving up access to the underlying aviation data. Instead of leading with coded observations and forecasts, ISR ScudRunner puts the meaning first. Wind, visibility, ceilings, flight category and other important conditions are presented in plain English, with the original METAR, TAF and NOTAM text available when you want it. WEATHER AT A GLANCE • METAR — Current conditions with VFR, MVFR, IFR and LIFR flight categories, readable wind, visibility, ceiling, temperature, pressure and observation age. Reports older than 90 minutes aren't presented as current. • TAF — Terminal forecasts divided into readable periods, each showing its flight category alongside the forecast. The original TAF remains available for reference. • Daily Forecast — NWS hourly conditions and a 7-day outlook for the selected airport. • Winds Aloft — NOAA 6-, 12- and 24-hour forecasts with wind direction, speed and temperature by altitude. Product timing and validity information are translated from aviation shorthand into readable dates and times. • NEXRAD Radar — Six frames spanning approximately 25 minutes, with 25, 50 and 100 NM ranges, Play Loop, radar-site information, image times, range rings and light/dark basemaps. • Area Forecast Discussion — Read the forecaster's discussion behind the weather. KNOW THE AIRPORT ISR ScudRunner carries airport information for more than 19,400 airports, making it easy to move from the weather to the airport information that matters. • Runways — See the runway favored by the current wind, including headwind, tailwind and crosswind components for each runway end. • Airport Diagrams — View official FAA Airport Diagrams for supported airports. Other airports can be shown with mapped runway views and an offline schematic fallback. • Frequencies — Weather, Clearance, Ground, Tower, CTAF/UNICOM, Approach, Departure, Flight Service and Emergency frequencies, as available. ASOS/AWOS phone numbers can be called directly through iOS. • Nearby Weather — Compare flight category and current conditions at surrounding airports without leaving the weather view. • Saved Airports — Star frequently used airports for quick access, review recently viewed airports and reopen ISR ScudRunner where you left off. TFRs & LIVE NOTAMs Bring restrictions and airport notices into the same preflight workflow. ISR ScudRunner presents TFR information and organizes live NOTAMs into practical categories including Runways & Taxiways, Lighting, Airspace, NAVAIDs & Communications, Obstacles, Procedures, Services & Data, and Other. Just as importantly, ISR ScudRunner tells you when information isn't available. An empty, stale or failed data source isn't silently presented as an all-clear. BUILT FOR THE COCKPIT • Find the nearest airport using your current location or manually select the airport you want. • Choose Light, Dark or Auto appearance. • Select preferred units for wind, distance, altitude, temperature and time. • Use airport-local or Zulu time. • Keep the published raw METAR, TAF and NOTAM text available alongside ISR ScudRunner's readable presentation. Whether you're checking conditions before leaving home, comparing nearby airports, looking at the wind across the runways or reviewing the latest notices, ISR ScudRunner is designed to get you from aviation data to useful information quickly. IMPORTANT ISR ScudRunner is a preflight information and situational-awareness tool. It is not a substitute for an official weather briefing, NOTAM/TFR review, flight planning or pilot judgment. Always consult appropriate official sources before flight.

AI-GENERATED OPPORTUNITY HYPOTHESES

These are generated suggestions, not verified review quotations. Check current App Store reviews and speak with users before treating a possible gap as a requirement.

Build scope

Plan a focused first version with your coding agent. These are planning assumptions, not a delivery guarantee.

Define the first version

Choose one audience and one core workflow. Use the kit to agree on its screens, data, and acceptance criteria before building.

Set boundaries

Decide which secondary features, integrations, and platform support can wait. Your version does not need to reproduce everything in the original.

Check the hard parts

Validate external services, specialist technology, data access, and ongoing costs for your chosen scope.

A reliable timeline needs an agreed scope and a technical check. Ask your agent to estimate the phases in BUILD_PLAN.md after that review.
