WHAT IT DOESN'T DO There is no server. No account. No analytics. No network code at all - the app cannot reach the internet, because nothing in it knows how. Airplane mode is not a limitation; it's the demo. There are no scores, no streaks, no numbers going up. The month is drawn as a field of marks: one for each day you spoke, longer for the days you stayed. Presence, not performance. HOW IT WORKS Transcription runs on your iPhone using the system's own speech recognition. Reflection runs on Apple's on-device model. Your words are never sent anywhere to be processed, because there is nowhere for them to go. Recordings are transcribed and then deleted, unless you choose to keep the audio. Deleting an entry deletes the recording and the transcript. Journal data is excluded from device backups - if you lose the phone, you lose the journal. That's a deliberate trade, made in your favor. Teach it the words you actually use. Correct it when it misreads you. Mark the entries that matter.
