Mushroom for iPhone is the companion to Mushroom on the Mac. It carries the three things that are better in your pocket than on a Mac you have walked away from. REMINDERS, WHEREVER YOU ARE Anything you asked to be reminded of turns up here too, and you can make one on the phone. A reminder you wrote at your desk buzzes on the train. Water, breaks and the other built in nudges stay on the Mac, because they follow how long you have really been sitting there, which a phone in your pocket cannot see. YOUR STASH, TO READ ON THE WAY Everything you saved, searchable, with the tags you gave it. Save a link or a plain note from the phone, or send a page over with the Share sheet. The offline copies of pages stay on the Mac, where there is room for them. YOUR FRIENDS, TO ANSWER The same conversations, the same names you gave people, and what you have already read. A message you send from the phone appears on your Mac, and reading it once is enough. Every message is sealed before it leaves and opened on the other side, so our server passes along something it cannot read. THROUGH YOUR OWN ICLOUD There is no Mushroom account and no server of ours in the middle. Reminders and the Stash travel through your own private iCloud, and nothing moves until you turn Sync with iCloud on, on both the Mac and the phone. Off by default, like everything here. NEEDS A MAC This is a companion, not a copy. Reminders and the Stash work on the phone alone, but Friends is set up on the Mac and cannot be started here, because the identity that carries your conversations lives in your own iCloud Keychain and this app only ever adopts it.
