InfusionReady is an offline decision-support tool for licensed critical-care clinicians who plan and administer continuous IV infusions. It helps you answer three bedside questions fast: 1. Can these two infusions share the same IV line? 2. Given everything this patient is ordered, what is the fewest number of safe IV lines — and which drips go together? 3. Which drips must run on a dedicated line of their own? HOW IT WORKS - Browse a catalog of common ICU/ED continuous infusions — vasopressors, inotropes, vasodilators, antiarrhythmics, sedation and analgesia, paralytics, anticoagulants, electrolytes, and more — each with standard concentrations and line/safety notes. - Add pharmacy-compounded or non-standard "custom" infusions specific to your unit. - Quick Pair Check gives a clear Y-site verdict for any two infusions. - The Line Planner takes everything a patient is ordered and groups it into the fewest IV lines where every infusion sharing a line is documented compatible with every other, isolating dedicated-line drugs automatically. CONSERVATIVE BY DESIGN InfusionReady only places two infusions together when the data affirmatively says they are compatible. Where no reliable Y-site data exists, it reports "No data" and keeps them on separate lines — so it may suggest MORE lines than strictly necessary, never fewer. It will never knowingly combine a pair documented as incompatible. DATA SOURCES Compatibility data is curated from widely used injectable-drug references (Trissel's Handbook on Injectable Drugs, King Guide to Parenteral Admixtures, Micromedex IV Index). It is intentionally conservative and not an exhaustive reproduction of any reference. IMPORTANT InfusionReady is decision-support only. It is not a medical device, not a dosing calculator, and not a substitute for your pharmacist, the ordering provider, institutional protocols, or your clinical judgment. Concentration, diluent, and rate all affect real-world compatibility. Always confirm with your pharmacy before co-administering infusions. PRIVACY Fully offline.
