Youlan is an AI-powered basketball shooting analysis app for players, trainers, and coaches. Record or select a side-view shooting video, and the app automatically identifies the full shooting motion and generates analysis across rhythm, posture, ball-body coordination, and release parameters. Unlike simple video replay, Youlan breaks your shot into data you can observe, compare, and review. You can view an overall score, loading and lift rhythm, knee and hip angle changes, upper-arm and forearm angles, elbow lift and extension range, ball release angle, and other key metrics, then receive prioritized suggestions for improvement. Key features: - On-device video analysis: after you choose a side-view shooting video, the core analysis is completed locally on your device. Videos are not uploaded to a server during the standard analysis flow. - Shooting phase recognition: automatically analyzes loading, lift, release, and follow-through phases to help you understand your power rhythm. - Posture and release metrics: quantifies key motion parameters such as knee angle, hip angle, arm angles, release angle, and ball-body coordination rhythm. - AI training suggestions: generates practical training advice based on metric deviations and highlights the highest-priority adjustments. - Standard model comparison: compares your motion metrics with a standard shooting model to show similarity and major differences. - Training history: saves local analysis records, tracks score trends, and compares changes between two sessions. - Privacy-friendly: local analysis is available without account registration, and records are managed by you on your device. Recording tips: - Use a side view, preferably from the shooting-hand side. - Keep the phone fixed and avoid following the player with the camera. - Keep the full body in frame, from the set position through landing. - Use good lighting and a clean background, and keep each video focused on one complete shot whenever possible.
