Intelligent Refresh and Caching Mr. Seawatcher refreshes forecasts automatically when the app opens or when you change spots. To keep switching fast and reduce unnecessary service calls, the app uses short-term caching for recently viewed locations. Returning to a spot within about an hour reuses the latest forecast instead of fetching again. Live forecast fetches are limited daily to help keep the app sustainable as a simple one-time purchase. Cached revisits do not count toward the limit. If the daily live refresh limit is reached, the most recent forecast remains visible. Daily Summary Reminder Enable a daily local notification reminder at your preferred time. The reminder references your currently selected spot and updates automatically if you change locations.
