Three fast ways to add an item: - Scan a barcode (on-device, no internet) to fill in the name and category. - Pick from the bundled USDA FoodKeeper storage guide to estimate a quality window for the selected location. - Snap or choose a photo and let on-device OCR suggest the name, date, and printed label type. Photos are optional — you can log an item and its package date in seconds.
