Build Your Garden Import your contacts and organize them into three tiers inspired by the parts of a tree: - Roots — Your closest people. Family, best friends, your inner circle. - Branches — Important relationships you want to nurture regularly. - Leaves — People you care about and want to stay in touch with. Your iPhone Favorites are automatically added as Roots. Everyone else can be assigned to any tier with a single tap — and you can change priorities anytime as relationships evolve. Gentle Daily Reminders Each day, Tend suggests someone in your garden to reach out to. A text, a call, a coffee, a handwritten note — however you connect best. The app intelligently weighs who to suggest based on their priority tier, how long it's been since you last connected, and whether they're overdue for attention. Set how many people you'd like to reach out to per week, and Tend distributes reminders across your days — with a slight nudge toward weekends when you have more time. When a reminder appears, you can: - Mark it Done — logs it in your history and moves them to the back of the queue - Snooze it — push the reminder back by a day, a week, or a month - Deprioritize — move someone to a lower tier if the relationship has shifted On quiet days with no scheduled reminders, tap the Surprise Me button and Tend will randomly suggest someone from your garden. Track Your Outreach Your History screen keeps a complete log of every outreach action — who you reached out to, when, and what you did. See your stats at a glance: how many connections this month, all time, and your average days between outreach. Search by name to find anyone's history instantly.
