This app was created out of a personal need to inventory and identify a wide variety of pens—most notably fountain pens. What began as a simple organizational tool has grown into a broader vision: helping collectors worldwide keep track of their pen collections while also maintaining a rough estimate of each pen’s value. At the heart of the app is the Collection feature, which allows users to store photos, detailed descriptions, and historical notes about each pen. Alongside these records, the app provides an estimated value, giving collectors a practical way to monitor the worth of their collection over time. Whether you own a handful of cherished writing instruments or an extensive archive, the Collection feature is designed to make cataloging simple, visual, and informative. The app draws inspiration from the work of renowned pen collector and Parker 51 re-creator Ralph Prather, whose dedication to documenting and preserving pen history has influenced its design philosophy. His meticulous approach to his involvement in Fountain Pens serves as a guiding example for how this app seeks to empower collectors everywhere. As the app is still under active development, you can expect frequent updates and new features in the near future. Additionally, it HAS been tested on a variety of iPhones from 11 to 17, running iOS 18.x through 26.2.
