Whether due to speech impairments, neurological conditions, or other challenges, SpellRBoard allows users to spell out words and phrases using an alphanumeric letterboard. Paired with text-to-speech technology SpellRBoard offers an easy-to-use platform for those in need of an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) solution. SpellRBoard removes the clutter of ads, pop-ups, and ongoing payments so that users can focus solely on what matters most: communication. My family has been helping him learn to communicate using a letteboard, where he points to each letter, spelling out whatever he wants to say. I realized that I could create a digital version of a letterboard so he could spell independently. I was encouraged to publish the app and refine it, so that it could be accessible to all. SpellRBoard- because everyone has a voice and deserves to be heard.
