Visual Freezer Inventory will manage up to six freezers and thousands of items of inventory. Placement Location: This is one of the most powerful features of the Visual Freezer Inventory app. We have all experienced that nagging question: 'Just WHERE in the freezer is it?!' This is exactly the reason why this app was written. The Placement location screen gives you an X-Ray view of a chest freezer or upright freezer. Then, using your finger, simply tap or drag the red locator icon to the approximate location in the freezer where you placed your item. You will then see a pulsing locator at that location. When it comes time to find the item, this will save a lot of time and headaches. Duration in Freezer: The color on the freezer label shows the duration of items in the freezer: – Green: items are within 1-6 months duration in the freezer. – Yellow: contains items with 6-12 months duration in the freezer. – Red: contains items with 12+ months duration in the freezer. At the proper temperature, food items can last indefinitely, however, it does not mean that they will look or taste good. The colors are a recommendation for the best food quality.
