Illustrative example: an invoice app for independent contractors. Your kit is tailored to the app you choose; this is not its generated content.

Feature spec

Goal: Send a clear invoice after finishing a job.

  • Add a client, line items, a due date, and payment instructions.
  • Preview the total before exporting a PDF.
  • Keep an editable draft if export fails.

Screen plan

Invoice editor: Client at the top, editable line items in the middle, total and preview action at the bottom.

States: Empty draft, validation errors beside each field, exporting, and a retry action that preserves the draft.

Differentiate and validate

Hypothesis: Contractors need faster repeat invoices more than more templates.

First experiment: Test duplicating a previous job with five contractors. Watch where they hesitate before expanding the feature set.

The full kit adds a phased build plan, evidence notes, tool prompts, and implementation guidance. It is a plan for your coding agent, not a finished app.

Usage: Mechanics are fair game; never reuse the original name, branding, assets, or verbatim copy.

App Store description

This app provides, using temperature, altitude, humidity, atmospheric pressure and oil-mix ratio, a recommendation about the jetting configuration to use for Husqvarna 2-stroke MX and enduro bikes (TC, TE and TX models). In order to get the weather values, the application can use the location service (GPS or WiFi) to obtain the position and altitude, and the network connection to get the temperature, pressure and humidity from the nearest weather station. Nevertheless, the application can run without GPS, WiFi and internet connection, in this case, the user has to give the weather data. The application is made up of four tabs that are described next: - Results: in this tab, the recommended main jet, needle type and clip position, pilot jet and air screw position are shown (screw position is expressed in turns from fully tightened). These data are calculated depending on the weather conditions and the engine configuration introduced in the next tabs. Under the recommended main jet, the calculated real value with decimals is shown. The air density and density altitude are shown too. In addition, this tab lets do a fine tuning adjustment to adapt to a concrete engine (you know that each engine has its own personality). - Conditions: you can set the values for current temperature, pressure, altitude and humidity, by hand or by bringing them from the nearest weather station: the app uses the location service (GPS or WiFi) to know where you are, queries the station and shows what it answered -the place, which station, how far, how long ago and with what values-. If it convinces you, one tap moves them into the fields. Up to version 1.7 this lived in a separate GPS tab. - Engine: you can set in this screen the information about the engine, that is, the model year, model and carburetor, and the oil mix ratio that you're using. Under the ratio there is a mix calculator: it converts between petrol, oil and ratio, so it tells you how much oil to add to the petrol you are about to mix, or what ratio you ended up with from what you already poured. Petrol and oil each have their own unit -litres, gallons, millilitres or ounces- and the ratio is shown as a percentage and as 1:n at the same time. One tap brings the result back into the Engine screen. - Logbook: every ride is saved here, not every calculation. The + button on the Results tab copies what the app already knows -bike, weather and its recommendation- and leaves pending the only thing it cannot know: what you actually fitted and how it went. The rating is per circuit -low, mid and high-, because jetting can be rich at the bottom and lean at the top at the same time. Everything can be exported to CSV or shared as a backup to carry to another phone. The app let you use different measure units: ºC and ºF for temperatures, meters and feet for altitude, and mb, hPa, mmHg and inHg for pressures. The air density can be shown in kg/m3, lb/ft3 or lb/gal (US). The jetting data comes from the tables published by the manufacturer in the owner's manual of each model and year. The app includes the following Husqvarna two stroke, off-road motorbikes: - TC 50: 2017-2026. - TC 50 Mini: 2017-2023. - TC 65: 2017-2027. - TC 85: 2014-2026. - TC 125: 2014-2022. - TC 250: 2014-2022. - TE 125: 2014-2016. - TE 150: 2017-2019. - TE 250: 2014-2018. - TE 300: 2014-2018. - TX 125: 2017-2019. - TX 300: 2017-2019. * Fuel injection engines are not supported. The app is valid only for engines that use carburetor. If you click in "More from developer" you can find the other carburation tools for 2 strokes & 4 strokes motocross, SX, MX, enduro, supercross, off-road race motorcycles: KTM, Yamaha YZ, Suzuki RM, Honda CR, Honda CRF, Kawasaki KX. The app is valid for both PRO or beginners dirtriders.

Build scope

Plan a focused first version with your coding agent. These are planning assumptions, not a delivery guarantee.

Define the first version

Choose one audience and one core workflow. Use the kit to agree on its screens, data, and acceptance criteria before building.

Set boundaries

Decide which secondary features, integrations, and platform support can wait. Your version does not need to reproduce everything in the original.

Check the hard parts

Validate external services, specialist technology, data access, and ongoing costs for your chosen scope.
